A. Submission to IM2009 Application Session

Application Sessions aim to complement the Technical Sessions with contributions that emphasize practical experiences and lessons learnt in conjunction with management technology. They will focus on aspects such as real-world deployment scenarios experiences with the management of new services and technology, industrial applications of management technology, implementation examples of new management technology, organizational impact, and business cases. The intended audience especially includes decision makers and experts from industry.

Papers for the Application Sessions should be written in English. The paper format will be one of annotated slides - papers should have a visual in the upper half of a page and the explanatory text in the lower half.

Paper submissions should consist of no more than 15 annotated visuals, including title and references, in PDF only. Please look at these samples of PPT format and PDF printout  for IM2009 Application Session Papers.

B. Final Camera-Ready for IM2009 Application Session
     (Due Date: Jan. 15, 2009)
Authors of all the accepted Applications Session must submit the Camera-Ready version electronically. Please submit the Applications Sessions Papers at our online submission system: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2009

Papers for the Application Sessions should be written in English. Paper submissions should consist of no more than 15 annotated visuals, including title and references, in PDF only.

All authors must also complete and submit a copy of IEEE Copyright Form to accompany with each paper submission.

Final Manuscripts are to be submitted in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format. Please follow the following steps:

  1. Create your manuscript as specified in the Samples provided. Please note that the maximum number of pages per manuscript is restricted to 15.
  2. Proof read and check layout of paper.
  3. Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website.
  4. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account (conference ID: im09x).
  5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to convert your source file into IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s). The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
  6. Submit your converted PDF file online. Please note that PDF Xpress only creates the PDF files for you, and you should still submit the converted file at our online submission system: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2009 
  7. Please scan your signed IEEE copyright transfer form and upload it to JEMS.

IM 2009 appointed Research Publishing Services (http://www.rpsonline.com.sg) as a handler of IM2009 publications for IEEE Communication Society. You may wish to contact Research Publishing Services for technical assistance on templates and creating IEEE Compliant PDF files.
