HOME CALL FOR PAPERS CONFERENCE PROGRAM REGISTRATION

A. Submissions to Technical Sessions

Authors are invited to submit original contributions (written in English) in PDF format through the JEMS (Journal and Event Management System) at https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2009.
Only original, full papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere can be submitted.

Each submission will be limited to 8 pages in IEEE 2-column style (main text in 10-point size) including figures and correct margins.
Papers exceeding 8 pages, multiple submissions, and self-plagiarized papers will be rejected without further review process.

Please use the stylesheet templates  provided by IEEE to assure that your proposal is in line with our guidelines. Standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/pubs/transactions/stylesheets.html. If you are using neither Microsoft Word nor Latex, you can use the guidelines provided by a template file.

 

B. Preparation & Uploading of Final Camera-Ready
    (Due Date Jan. 15, 2009)

Authors of all the accepted Technical Session Papers must submit the camera-ready version of papers electronically. Please submit the camera-ready version at our online submission system: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2009

Please strictly follow the given IM 2009 Paper Template. Each submission will be limited to 8 pages in IEEE 2-column style including figures and correct margins. Please use the stylesheet templates provided by IEEE to assure that your proposal is in line with our guidelines. Standard IEEE Transactions templates for LaTeX formats found at http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/pubs/transactions/stylesheets.html. If you are using neither Microsoft Word nor Latex, you can use the guidelines provided by a template file..

All authors must also complete and submit a copy of IEEE Copyright Form to accompany with each technical paper submission.

Final Manuscripts are to be submitted in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format. Please follow the following steps:

  1. Create your manuscript as specified in the template provided. Please note that the maximum number of pages per manuscript is restricted to 8.
  2. Proof read and check layout of paper.
  3. Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website.
  4. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account (conference ID: im09x).
  5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to convert your source file into IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s). The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
  6. Submit your converted PDF file online. Please note that PDF Xpress only creates the PDF files for you, and you should still submit the converted file at our online submission system: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2009 
  7. Please scan your signed IEEE copyright transfer form and upload it to JEMS.

IM 2009 appointed Research Publishing Services (http://www.rpsonline.com.sg) as a handler of IM2009 publications for IEEE Communication Society. You may wish to contact Research Publishing Services for technical assistance on templates and creating IEEE Compliant PDF files.

confusion: "IEEE reserves the
 right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal
from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the
 conference."
